Q: Write about a little kids birthday party and the events that led up to it, but tell it in the point of view of the pinata at the party. Give important details on the pinatas feelings and experience.
A: Hi my name is Peen-ya, I am 10 years old and I used to live in an orphanage. I was one of the ones who never could really get adopted until one day, and I'm gonna tell you the tale of how it all happened. It was a dark, cold night at the agency, a few others and I were all snug in our beds, just waiting till morning, in excitement that tomorrow might be the day one of us get adopted. Every few days or so I watch as yet another of my acquaintances gets picked up and wisped away by another family. As usual I am the first one asleep, so that I can wake up nice and early to greet any families that come through those doors at 8am everyday. Its morning now, I can tell because I can feel the suns heat on my skin, I like it, it feels nice, and it lets me know when its time to get up. I open my eyes slowly to let them adjust to the suns light, once they're open, I'm greeted by the smiling face of a little girl pointing and giggling at my friend Ya-ta, he slightly leans over to me and whispers silently "I think today might be my day Peen-ya", I'm a bit jealous of him at this point but i know that i need to be happy for him as well. The girls mother reaches down and picks up Ya-ta, shes starts to walk away with him hand in hand with her daughter, and I suddenly see Ya-ta look back and say"Goodbye my friend and good luck." It is almost time for the doors to close for the night and for us to go to bed, we watch as father starts toward the door to close it up for the night, but suddenly we hear a sudden, faint voice of a woman saying "wait, wait, don't close the door" as she rushes to the door. Father stops and looks out the window to see what the raucous is about, then he rushes over to open the doors for the speeding woman. The woman comes in, walks over to us and starts looking at our little group, the few that are still left start whispering "I think shes gonna adopt, I think shes gonna adopt" and sure enough she was going to adopt one of us this time she didn't look at someone else, she looked at me and i mean directly at me. I thought to myself "this might be my day, oh my gosh this is it, its really gonna happen." Sure enough she reached down and picked me up, she took me to the counter and gave father the little green adoption papers from her purse. After that she started to head out to her car, as she walked out with me, I looked back and saw all of my friends waving and shouting goodbye, I shouted back "GOODBYE EVERYONE, I WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK!!!"The woman and is driving kinda fast and reckless but i guess that ill have to get used to it, she finally starts to slow down and i figured that we must be here. She gets out of the car runs over to me and snatches me out of the car, she takes me closer and closer to the door each second, and my excitement builds more and more as each one passes, I keep on thinking if I will have any brothers or sisters or pets and how my dad will be, thinking time is over we reach the door the woman or mom pulls out her keys, unlocks the door one click, two clicks, three clicks and done the door is open mom and I start into the room, as we did screams and bursts of excitement fill the room. I see at least 7 different kids, could they all be my brothers and sisters? I think to myself, I see a very tall man in the corner of the room laughing and clapping, he must be dad I thought to myself. Mom sets me down and lets all the kids see me while she runs into the other room for something, maybe its a camera to take a picture of the new addition to the family. Well she did come back with a camera, but she also came back with a stick and some string. She walks over to me slowly, picks me up ties the string to my back, and you'll never believe what comes next, SHE HANGS ME FROM A HOOK IN THE CEILING!!!! I mean who does that to their new child in the family. That's not even the worst of it, then dad ties a cloth or something around one of the girls eyes, hands her the stick, then they all back away a couple of steps and shout "ONE, TWO, THREE, SWIIIIING!!!!" and then she try's to hit me, she misses, but comes back for another shot, she lands it right in the side of my leg, I go spinning round and round on my little string so much to where I just want to puke, Dad stops me from spinning, is he on my side or they'res, I thought to myself, then i see him look down at the girl with the stick and nod, she puts her blindfold back on and swings again hitting my back foot, I hear Dad say "alright you can take the blindfold off and try, I look down at the girl as she lifts her blindfold and gets ready for another attack, I feel as if this might be the last swing that I can take. She swings again this time focusing on where shes swinging, and swinging fast I try to move or even nudge out of the way but I didn't have the strength to move. CRACK!!! she hits me right in the stomach I feel something crack I try to look down only to get a quick glimpse of my stomach spewing candy. I couldn't take the site of seeing this I'm so confused, I don't know whats going on. Everything goes dark and I wake up to Mom reaching up and untying the string I hear her murmur something that sounded like "You did good little guy, now upstairs till next year." Everything goes dark again and I wake up in a dark place with a bunch of random things, I look down to find that my stomach isn't busted open anymore. I leave this story for any Pinatas out there the place we all start out in is not an orphanage, it is a store, and the people that will pick you and your friends up are not your family they will tie you up and beat you till you spew candy, then they'll stitch you up, stuff you with candy and do it all again. If anyone gets this get out now while you can, while you have the energy, GET OUT!!!!
THE END
You need to capitalize your I's. Some of them were not capitalized and some of them were. Your story was very interesting. You had a lot of good details!
ReplyDeleteMake sure to not use conjunctions, but when you do don't forget the apostrophes. Your story is very detailed and interesting. I can tell you put a lot of effort and time into this post.
